Have you ever calculated how much you will have paid in taxes to your government after, for example, 45 years of work?

Video of How much taxes will you have paid

If you pay 250 US Dollars every month in income taxes,  after 45 years, you will have paid 205,116 dollars. If you pay 500 USD per month, you will have paid 410,274 USD. And so on.

THAT IS A LOT OF MONEY, DON’T YOU THINK?

Plus, the hundreds of thousands or millions of USD more that you will have paid corresponding to sales taxes, real estate taxes, and others.

Can you imagine what you could have saved, acquired, or invested with these amounts of money?

Contributions that help to pay for the salaries of each of your political leaders in your country.

Do you think you will have paid for the salaries of honest and diligent politicians, eager promoters of the progress of our country? Or will you have allowed corrupt, mediocre, and inept leaders to remain in office?

Companies regularly evaluate their employees’ performance, schools assess their students’ learning achievements, and consumers rank the quality and service of restaurants and businesses. So why do we, citizens, fail to evaluate our government leaders’ performance?

Video of evaluation of government leaders
Politicians can spend decades reelected or in different government positions, and nobody ever evaluates them. It is not logical, don’t you think?

Voting is essential; however, citizens should not have to wait four years (or as many years as elections take place in your country) to express their approval or discontent with their government leaders’ performance. Imagine if companies waited four years to reward or admonish their employees for their efficiency.

FIND OUT HOW WE CAN MEASURE OUR LEGISLATORS’ PERFORMANCE WITH CONCRETE METRICS AND NOT WITH POPULARITY. GOVERNING IS NOT A SYMPATHY CONTEST!

Do you consider it to be correct that the majority of candidates for political positions start their campaigns without a thorough and proven plan for the country (state or city) that they would govern, nor the detailed legislation they would introduce if they were elected?

Often, the only information we get from our candidates is
Is it logical?
National Development Plan
And, if the success of companies depends not only on the abilities, knowledge, and expertise of their CEOs or Presidents but also on those of their Managers, Department Chiefs, and others, don’t you think the success of a nation, state or city would depend even more not only on the talents of the president, governor, or mayor but also on those of each member of the Cabinet?
Therefore, let’s promote that every candidate presents a detailed National (State of City) Development Plan or Project for Legislative Initiatives as well as each member of his Cabinet from the outset of the campaigns.

Therefore, let’s promote that every candidate presents a detailed National (State of City) Development Plan or Project for Legislative Initiatives as well as each member of his Cabinet from the outset of the campaigns.

  • 62% of the population of the world lives on less than 10 US dollars per day
  • 9% of the population (more than 650 million people) lives on less than 1.90 US dollars per day
  • 258 million children and youth in the world do not have access to education
  • People are murdered every day in the world
  • 400 million people do not have access to essential health services

These statistics are regrettable.
However, can we, as citizens, do something? Yes, we can!

Are you ready to try to solve or mitigate these issues?

Citizens cannot keep waiting for our government leaders to solve the problems facing our countries. Citizens are capable, committed, and ethical, and we can improve our nations. Let’s take action!

Outstanding politicians understand that in order to improve the quality
of our government leaders, they should comply with the following
mechanisms, as thoroughly discussed in the booklet:

Mechanism 1

Before running for a political position, outstanding leaders understand that they have to elaborate a thorough, proven plan of what they will execute if they were elected

MECHANISM 2

During the campaign, worthy candidates explain the plan of what they will implement in office and try to convince citizens of the benefits of their projects

MECHANISM 3

Also during the campaigns, valuable politicians introduce each one of the members of their Cabinet so that citizens have more parameters to vote.

MECHANISM 4

Once elected, first-class politicians inform citizens of their achievements as well as the progress of their pending projects quarterly (at least).

MECHANISM 5

Exceptional leaders understand that their performance must be evaluated by an autonomous authority annually, with Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) not popularity.

MECHANISM 6

Outstanding politicians incentivize citizens to participate in the progress of our nations.

It is essential to express our opinions and demand improvements through social networks and traditional media. However, citizens should attempt to take one step further: materialize our own initiatives.

Did you know that citizens have the right to propose legislative initiatives?

KENJI MURAY

"Although I agree with the popular idea that the problems that our nations face originate from our corrupt, inept, and mediocre government leaders, I also think that it is we, the citizens, who have allowed these kinds of individuals to govern our countries. Therefore, we, the citizens, must strive to promote mechanisms to be governed by much better politicians. This is the purpose of my booklet: to attempt to promote mechanisms that we as citizens can enforce to ensure that we are governed by the best and strategies to incentivize citizens to participate more and make a positive impact in our cities, states, or nations."

Let’s influence the decisions of our government leaders! Let’s be demanding citizens!

These mechanisms that I propose in the E-book are applicable to most countries in the world.
